Dear friends~
I've been workin' on some swaps and mailart this summer. I really love it, especially working on itty-bitty pages for the itty-bitty book club started by my fabulous, fun and fantastic friend MaryAnn!!!! How could I resist joining in on the fun. You all know I have a thing for itty-bitty art. lol. Let me tell you, I changed my mind on the dress 3 times (the theme was vintage prom dresses). I finally painted over one of them in a fave color and then glued over a collage. I used "real" vintage lace to embellish. I had picked this up in one of my antique mall jaunts a year or so ago.
I can't wait to see this book all bound together with everyone's work. Swaps are indeed time consuming, but they are worth the work to participate, learn, share and play! talk soon friends. got some catchin' up to do around these parts. still picking up bits of lace, lol. xo lia
