Moleskine's

What kind of moleskine do you use? What's a moleskine? Where can I find a moleskine? To learn more about moleskines, visit www.moleskine.com. I use the sketchbook with the purple label. (that's what I'm working in right now). I found mine at my local Barnes and Noble bookstore. They can be purchased online...I'd compare prices as they are a bit pricey, but I've found them to be worth it. The cover and pages are very sturdy. You can paint, collage, etc. without the usual warping. The thing I love about my moleskine is that I can carry it in my purse with ease. The other is that it's actually the only journal I ever get to the end of because I like working in it. Yes, I have several journals that are half-full. LOL. This background was created with watercolor crayons, first color back and forth with 3 or 4 different crayons, then spread with a baby wipe. On this particular page, a composition journal was used and thus some wrinkling occured. You would get best results with a journal that has heavier paper (and most have heavier paper than today's comp. journals!)
