This particular spread is in a book. I love using old books for journals. This one has been quite durable...and sometimes I glue a few pages together to make them stronger. I used to gesso the pages first...but now I just paint directly in them. ONe thing I also like to do is use up leftover paint from another project and just randomly paint some pages, sit the book up like a fan and write/glue things inside the next time.
We've been snowed in, so I'm loving this extra art time I haven't had as of late! It doesn't take long to fill up these books when you work in them daily! Will try to post more pics soon! xo lia
