Paper Bag Journal!

I found this wonderful tutorial on youtube! I love making paper bag books (will post mine soon). This is a great way to recycle as well as for those who are timid about the blank "new" journal.

I also love the young man's sweet voice in the background! This is a fun activity with to do with kids! enjoy!

Very Moving and Beautiful Art Journal Video

I wanted to share the link to this artjournal photo montage/music video. It really embodies what I believe an art journal is~ a place to lay our thoughts, work things out, add images that say more than words, and express ourselves artistically and poetically. I am moved each time I watch this.

ArtJournalling on Canvas!! Great link for you!

I found this GREAT art journalling video by Lisa Michelle Cohen on youtube this morning and wanted to share! The artist goes through her process of doing an art journal entry on canvas. She offers loads of tips and inexpensive/ingenious ideas of using supplies you have around the house as well as her supply resources. She goes over lots of different media uses (which I love) so watch the whole video. It's really great!!! I learned alot and was very inspired.
